Got a quote from them that was higher than the going rate, they wanted $120 for a job that costs
$85, so I checked online and went to 'Abbeys auto Lock and key' and guess what He charged...
BTW, I don't think this is a bad business, imo, the problem was with the kid at the counter that gave the sketchy quote, he just seemed out of place, I bet if I had talked to the owner or someone with experience than my experience would have been totally different, after this crummy experience my parents said they know the owners, apparently they did a real estate deal with them decades ago. Yes, My parents still have the Majestic Oak property.
So the takeaway here is, Do your homework, lookaround at what other businesses are charging so you don't get taken for a ride,
Locksmithing isn't a difficult job, I cut my own key's, Rekey locks, I've even cut key's for lock's
With missing key's, If you take the time to understand how locks work they're easy to manipulate. It's not rocket science.
My conception of the Locksmithing industry is not faulty it is in fact quite clear, I knew exactly
What work needed to be done and most importantly how much it costs before stepping foot in this business and it feels good doing that, Others should be prepared also, If you don't want to be overcharged.
I encourage people to try and solve the problem
Themselves first and if all else fails ask an expert and for God sake do your homework so you don't get taken for a ride, LOL!.
I highly recommend this place to everyone. Fast and friendly service. Couldn't have had a better experience anywhere.
Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They always have the odd keys also so you get what you need here with out hearing we dont carry that style.
Very friendly and very professional.
As a real estate broker, I am constantly needing locksmith service. I drive from the other side of town to see Jason and his crew, because I know the job will be done right. Every client I have ever referred to Giles's has had a positive experience, both for their homes, and their vehicles. Well worth the drive across town!

I had them cut a key for my 2004 Lexus is300. They did a great job. This is not the first time I have used them, and would definitely do business with them...
